Mindfulness Practices for Your Pediatric Clients

There is a plethora of evidence that mindfulness works! And mindfulness is not all just quiet meditation.

In this highly interactive course, Peggy will lead learners through practice of multiple mindfulness practices, from the “quiet” ones to active mindful movement.

Participants will learn how to integrate these activities to their practice and in the classroom as a brain break, for improving behavior, for promoting social skills, while also addressing your motor goals for your students. She will also present evidence on effects of mindfulness for individuals with ASD, ADHD, anxiety and depression.

Closed Captioned in English.
